Tierney Hill's Talk!

I think Tierney Hill's talk to us was very inspirational to me because it makes me that an average person like you and me did this amazing, inspirational situation.So that makes me think that anything is possible.I believe me being here in North Carolina is an inspiration to everyone in my town back home because they are so proud of me for doing so good in school and track up here and i think it also means a lot to my family too because i am the first in my family to go to college.

Economic Situation!

I think the economic situation will affect everyone is some way.I think it will affect me a little bit but not as much as people who have loans, finacing through the banks for house or car payments, or people who have job(s) and work.One thing i have changed since this ecconomic situation is that i save money now instead of going shopping all the time and i now use that money for gas in my car to get to places.It's impossible now to go shopping like i used too because everything is so expensive now and i would rather drive place instead of walk intstead of going shopping.But as you get older you have to make sacrifices and i guess this is a good lesson to learn now.
